Request Good Books
Good libraries promote and encourage the reading of good literature. For good or ill, the Autauga-Prattville Public Library relies on patrons to make value judgments about the materials that they stock. With that in mind, we can help our library to become an institution that elevates the minds of the children in our community.
Our library allows patrons to suggest items for them to order. The library staff have at times agreed to our suggestions. So please consider requesting good books through the instructions on this web page.
In the notes section, make sure you specify that you are not interested in an interlibrary loan (ILL). This will communicate to them that you want them to actually purchase a good book and not take it on loan from another library while charging you a fee.
