On June 13, we received a notification from Change.org that our petition had been reported as hate speech and had been removed. They found our petition requesting that the contested books be removed from the children’s section of the library to be attacking or maligning an entire class of people.
The petition had 542 signatures before it was removed, and we are now requesting that people fill out the new petition here.
